Bring a new unwrapped toy or shelf-stable food item to support the Hoodland Community Christmas Basket Program.
Dec 06 at 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
24730 E Woodsey Way,
Welches
On a snowy December evening, when the lights of Welches glow softly against the trees, a familiar whistle echoes through the valley. The Polar Express, shining bright with holiday warmth, has arrived once again at the Mt. Hood Lions Club.
Inside, families gather as the doors open to a world of Christmas magic — where laughter drifts like snowflakes and the scent of roast beef, ham, and all the trimmings fills the air. Happy Hour begins at 5:30pm, when neighbors greet one another with warm smiles, and by 6:00pm the hall glows with the glow of shared community and shared plates.
Just like the children who board the Polar Express with wonder in their eyes, guests are invited to bring with them a gift — a new unwrapped toy or shelf-stable food item — to help bring joy to families through the Hoodland Community Christmas Basket Program. Every donation becomes a spark of hope, a reminder that the true spirit of the season is found in giving.
Tickets may be purchased in advance for $25 (online or at local partner locations), or at the door for $30 on the night the magic arrives.
On December 6th, step aboard. Share a meal, share a moment, and be part of a holiday tradition that brings light to our community year after year. The bell still rings for all who truly believe.
