Serving the Community Since MAY 11th 1951
The Mt. Hood Lions Club is a volunteer service organization dedicated to enriching our community.
We believe the strongest communities are built by neighbors helping neighbors. The Mt. Hood Lions Club brings together people who want to give back through volunteer service, local fundraising, and community events that directly benefit the Hoodland area. While we’re proud to be part of Lions Clubs International, our greatest impact is right here at home.
Club is a magnet for:
- Community Events
- Fundraising
- Bingo!
Our members are dedicated to working hard to serve the community
“Will you not help me hasten the day when there shall be no preventable blindness, no little deaf, blind child untaught, no blind man or woman unaided?”
- Helen Keller
Behind every scholarship awarded, breakfast served, Bingo night hosted, and community event organized is a dedicated group of volunteers who care deeply about the Hoodland community.
Membership is about more than meetings—it’s about building friendships, serving alongside your neighbors, and making a difference close to home.

Serve Our Community
For more than 75 years, Mt. Hood Lions have invested in the Hoodland community through scholarships, youth swim lessons, disaster relief, Christmas baskets, vision programs, and countless volunteer projects that improve life on the mountain.

Bring People Together
From the Chuckwagon Breakfast and Bingo to the Charity Golf Open and new community events, we create opportunities for neighbors to connect while raising funds that support local programs.

The Mt Hood Lions Club is a part of Lions Clubs International, a network of volunteers who work on various community projects, particularly in the Mt. Hood area. Like other Lions Clubs, the Mt Hood Lions Club focuses on serving their local community through a variety of projects, which can include vision and health screenings, environmental projects, disaster relief efforts, and support for the elderly and disabled. The specific activities and projects of the Mt Hood Lions Club would be tailored to the needs of their local community in the Mt. Hood region, reflecting the broader mission of Lions Clubs International to serve and meet local needs.
